Sunday, November 16, 2003 Mood: Melancholic Song: Emi Fujita - Once In A Very Blue Moon Alright. Dramatic changes occurred in the course of the past week. First of all, I got transferred to the S1 department of my battalion. For all you non-military people out there, it's basically the department that deals with manpower. (I think) I'm supposed to be a part of the team that deals with reservist personnel. Sigh... I don't really like this new place. I simply can't be bothered to adapt to new environmental changes now that my service days have reached a lull. Moreoever, quite a few people have told me that S1's a rather political place, and I don't think I wanna face that right now. It's really something like taking the day as it comes, with nothing to look forward to. Met Mary-Kate yesterday for some shopping at the army market, and I can't believe that I bought a pair of Adidas sneakers for just 40 bucks! They don't look like imitation to me, and I'm quite sure they're genuine. Definitely going there again soon. My God, I'm like on a shoe craze these days! Subsequently, met my section mates for dinner at Breeks (or Breks... they can't even decide on the spelling!). It was supposed to be some sorta farewell dinner for people (like me and a couple of others) who are posting out, so it seemed rather significant. (gag... LOL) Anyway, it was quite pleasant (in terms of food) and I went to meet Mary-Kate (again??!) and Erwin for some walking around Raffles City Shopping Mall and Citilink. We went home to retire soon after... Suddenly I can't wait to ORD. Gv complained @ 3:04 PM {xoxo} |
