The Morning After(ish)

I know it's not exactly morning now, but it's as close as it can get. Just let me start this off by saying that I had the groggiest morning escapade of my life last night. Maybe not the groggiest of my life, but it was close enough. To cut a long story short, we took the wrong nightrider and ended up in Sembawang at 3++ am in the morning and we subsequently shared a cab and reached home around 4+, almost 5 on Sunday morning. Needless to say, I was totally zonked out. Plonked down onto my bed almost immediately after I'd done my toilette in record time. On hindsight, it was really a rash, brainless mistake, but nevertheless there was this perverse thrill to the whole 'getting lost in S'pore' thingy. LOL. I guess I shan't elaborate further. I will leave someone else to relive the embarrassment, and retell the tale if he/she (my pitiful attempt to protect the identity of the person) wishes.

Prior to that 'getting lost escapade', Sean, Jo and I met for dinner at Mac's and we subsequently proceeded to this pub called Detention Class (sounds like a dodgy name to moi, but never judge a pub by its door sign!) and met up with Jo's friend Michelle (the M girl). Or rather Jo and I went first, while Sean had to go collect some money owed to him by his friend. (Credibility of story is ambiguous. LOL.) Anyway, by the time he arrived, the rest of us had already sung quite a number of tracks, and I must say I'm seriously addicted to this karaoke singing thing. Haha. Like Sean said, it beats clubbing anytime, anyday, any way! I guess it's just a simpler and more realistic way of bringing our pop star wannabe fantasies to life, rather than going for endless auditions conducted by unknown entertainment companies whatsoever. If you know what I mean. Besides, the drinks there were rather cheap compared to the market rate. Definitely value for money. (?)

Going singing again tomorrow at K Box, and shopping afterwards. I need these shoes that I saw in POA and maybe a t-shirt or two. Some pants might be good too. Damn, I sound so vacuous now.

There goes my budget.

Song: Atomic Kitten - If You Come To Me (Hmmm... talking about being vacuous.)
