Mood: Exhausted
Song: JJ Lin Junjie - Jiang Nan

Many thanks to Shimin and Meiji for introducing that JJ song to moi, absolutely love it, and it's on repeat mode on my music player now. I've never really been a fan of Mandarin pop, but just one visit to KBox recently made me realize how much I've missed all these years. I admit that I somehow think Western music is superior, but that mindset has gotta change. We do have some real talented local singers/songwriters. LOL. Somehow I've become so patriotic. Oh well, this phase will definitely not last. :)

School's been kinda fun lately, though I am not sure why. I would expect many to refute my comments because there're loads of projects, essay assignments, and the latest is that I gotta go interview people and submit a newspaper article style writeup next Friday. And I gotta finish my group project proposal by this Friday, and schedule an appointment with Corinne. Oh man... :( But somehow it really beats lingering around in camp during NS days. I guess it's this unlimited freedom that I'm feeling, where I can do almost anything I want without having to worry too much about the consequences. Unlike 30 SCE. Urgh. Bad bad memories. Which reminds me, I just said hi to Parvathy earlier on when I was at Jurong Point with my course mates. LOL. Haha...

Gotta go work on my advertising essay now... I just felt the inclination earlier to pen down a couple of my thoughts. Now writer's block is overwhelming moi...

Mood: Exhausted
Song: Nina Gordon - Tonight And The Rest Of My Life

It's been a rather relaxed week so far, and I plan to enjoy every single minute of it before it runs out. Deadlines are approaching, and me being the perpetual last minute person, will always wait till then... Perhaps I should change my rationale. But then again, procrastination's kinda inherent in me, so that'll be rather laborious... Thank goodness for the cancelled lecture today, and "thank" my Media Writing tutor for the one hour tutorial tomorrow... Or else I need not go to school! Argh... would've gone straight out to the movies with Irwin, Shimin, etc tomorrow instead of having to make a detour to school first. Oh well. I did say that I am not a complainer right? Hmmm...

I regret taking the money. Now I'm stuck with a Thursday (tomorrow) morning deadline, and simplifying 22 long and tedious pages of an incomprehensible construction contract that Mom's friend got me to do. Zzzzzzzz.... I should request a raise, or maybe just return the cash. Nah... I will persevere.

Mood: Falling sick (blocked nose)
Song: Elton John - Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me

Got my new Toshiba notebook yesterday, and I'm still kinda exploring and configuring everything... Hmmm... Though elated that I've gotten a new laptop, the arduous process of installing programs, downloading codecs, on top of working on my assignments is really killing my enthusiasm. Gotta bring it down to school someday to configure the wireless network settings. Dread...

Watched Catwoman on Friday, and I didn't really find it to be a great disappointment, though not as good as I expected. Who was I kidding? To expect good out of fluff??! Anyway, I really dig Sharon's Stone's icy demeanor in the show (not the actress herself), with her ice blonde hair and eyes. Seriously speaking, I can't really be bothered with Halle Berry as Catwoman, though I did like her as Storm in the X-Men movies, and Ginger in Swordfish. Wonder where I can find the Sharon Stone poster on the net, with her maniacal laughter and the breaking glass... I saw the picture in 8 Days and I was like.. whoa.. I like that...

Gotta work on my essay now... I have a bloody, literally long day at school tomorrow.

Mood: Neutral
Song: Lauren Wood - Fallen

Phew... The hair show's finally over. Come to think of it, it wasn't so bad. In fact, I had a whooping great time. Haha... The only downer was the black feet I had after the show cuz the models in my group had to walk barefooted, and Centro's wooden floors really need a floor-washing detergent endorsement. Moreover, we were all feeling damn cold cuz of our thinly veiled outfits, but oh well, it was an experience. And I love my hair!

Need to do some textbook reading now... Fantasy's over. LOL.

Mood: Tired
Song: Kit Chan - Home' 98 version (I'm being so patriotic! LOL. The ONLY thing I like about National Day, the songs!)

Here I am, in one of NTU's libraries, on the last day of the 2nd week of school, and I'm zonked out. Literally. Maybe not mentally yet, but I have a feeling that I will be in the weeks to come. I've already got 2 projects to complete, present, etc etc by end September, and I am anticipating more to come. Definitely. Gotta do better with the coordination, what with everyone busy with stuff, general electives, and blah blah blah. Oh well, at least it won't be boring as hell stuff like writing proposals and reports. Not that I don't have any of those to do. It's a combination of both.

Hmmm... having bittersweet regrets about the hair show modelling thing on Sunday. I really don't wish to have outrageous colours in my hair, and having to face my course mates next Tuesday with my new "look". Haha... Gotta do quick recolouring job on Monday before returning to school. Urgh. And I also gotta consider the confirmed shocked expressions from my parents, grandparents, and so on... It's so hard to live these days...

Ooh, going off to watch The Village at Jurong Point. Can't imagine I gotta go to that dreaded shopping centre for the next 4 years. I'd better grow to like it. Signing out with my favourite quotes from the movie...

"Never enter the woods. This is where they wait..."
"Let the bad colour not be seen. It attracts them..."

Haha... been irritating the hell out of my friends for the past week imitating the voice. LOL.
