Head-scratching quote of the day: Press freedom is the press' freedom... HUH??!

Song: Luther Vandross & Mariah Carey - Endless Love (started to notice the song after it being the background music of a Bush/Blair parody shown during CS108 lecture today... Haha)

Work is inevitably piling up, and it's just the last day of January today. Oh damn. Sometimes I wonder why I chose such a competitive course (they say it's the 3rd most competitive choice after medicine and law) to study. I am not the kind of person who will feel extremely motivated by weekly reports, writing relentlessly for school papers and magazines, filming nonstop till the wee hours, video/audio editing till the novelty of Mac has started to wear out, doing extra research in libraries, surfing the internet for additional academic material instead of porn, bittorent and music downloads, shopping (!!!), ktving, etc etc etc... Anyway, yeah, you get my gist.

Nevertheless, with all those incessant complaints, I still have to get some work done. Yes, and I can't believe that my group chose the topic of premarital sex to present as our CS106 topic. I know Ellen Hauser (boring lecturer) wanted a controversial topic, but I didn't expect us to want to do one on premarital sex! And worse, it's to persuade people to indulge in premarital sex somemore! Oh my God. Haha... I think we'll just have to pull it off, yes, with themes like carpe diem, and sexual incompatibility after marriage, perhaps, we can just so convince our "morally upright" audience.

I've finally gotten a hall, albeit for this semester only. Yeah, gotta submit another application next semester, and I doubt I would get it then, cuz it'll be damn competitive. Nonetheless, I'm thankful that I managed to be balloted in the ad-hoc applications this semester. Getting my keys tomorrow, and I'm just crossing my fingers that my roommate won't be some anal freak. I'm not the world's cleanest person. Everyone can vouch for that. I know. Do not have to tell me.

I can't believe I've got a Journalism and Publishing presentation on Valentine's. Meaning I gotta spend my birthday (Sun, 13 Feb, for all you forgetful ******* out there!) working away.

Like what's new, right? Yeah... I reckon I'm gonna get used to this. Or else I'll cry.
