NKF recently retrenched 92 employees (mainly from the fundraising department) because it is not going to conduct any active fundraising in the near future. Minlee told me something online the other day that I didn't think of...

That the fucking irritating XXX (race kept confidential, in case I get sued in court for sedition!) lady is most probably fired! HAHAHA! Yes, I was thinking, how come i've not thought about that when the retrenchment announcement was on the news? Oh well... but then again, it figures, unless NKF wants to keep her for some other reason. Anyway, I'm not against her race or anything like that. It's just the solicitation methods she practiced I despise.

Finally met la bitch Sean today in town for brunch and some shopping! I finally bought my Nike navy blue slingbag which I was deciding against. The reason? Because some b**** in school has the same brown/yellow bag that I bought last month! And of course I would not be seen as a follower! And it'll be damn awkward if we're seen together with the same bag. Non, je suis l'original perpetually forever. Haha.

Also bought a new belt, cuz my current Billabong one is fraying and rusting. I'm completely justified to get a new one, no?

Oh well, at least no buyer's remorse this time. Not yet, anyway. Imagine the remorse I felt when I found out that that girl has the same bag as me. Urgh.

Anyway, school has started again, and it seems as though holidays were like yonks ago, even though it was just last week. October is going to the month with lotsa bloody deadlines. Absolutely disgusting.

The one week recess break is finally here! Phew, I can wake up late for 7 whole days without having to attend classes!

Sadly there's still work to be done, which I so absolutely loathe, but have no choice but to complete/get started...

Let's see...

I. CS222 Intercultural and International Communication - tutorial slides to prepare (which means I've gotta read the boring article, summarise it, and come up with intelligent questions to ask.)

2. CS226 Desktop Publishing - six page magazine layout to do (which means more exasperation with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop!)

3. CS229 Basic Audio and Video Production - gotta go back to school to edit my video rushes on the linear editing machine! (Oh, why can't I use Final Cut Pro??!)

4. CS291A Radio Practicum - scripts to write, plus going back to school to record the shows.

5. ECA- Call sponsors for Overdrive 2005. (this may seem easier, but sometimes I just absolutely hate speaking to strangers. Makes me wonder why I signed up for the position in the first place.)

Other than all that, I'm also going to do more shopping, (Both in Malaysia and S'pore!) get new haircut and colour, and of course meet Sean for more posh late Sunday morning brunches! Yaaaay!
